Adopt a Cat!

*This page will be updated as fast as possible when new dogs are adopted or brought in to our facility.*

*Long Time Resident* This is Diego! A neutered 2 year old male. He has been at the shelter since September 2008, and has been waiting a very long time for someone to give him a real chance. He is kind of an independent guy who doesn't like to be carried around. He is a real lover when he wants to be. Diego will need time to adjust in a new home as he has been calling the shelter home since he was a kitten, it's all he knows. If you really have the time and love to put into giving Diego a real chance at a forever home please come see us!

Arlo is an unaltered male who is about 2 years old.
Arlo is a gentle giant who will meow at you until you notice him!

This is Betty Boo! She is almost a year old and is spayed. Betty Boo is a very friendly girl who loves everyone and would make a purrfect companion!

UPDATE: Elmo has started to grow his fur back, only time will tell what he'll look like..

This is Elmo. A young male cat that was found by workers at the Miramichi Hospital. Poor Elmo was covered in some kind of oil, and had multiple abscesses on his neck, and was very very skinny. Thank god they found Elmo when they did because he wouldn't have lasted much longer. It's very very sad. Luckily we just got to him in time and is now on the road to recovery, but not without consequences ...Elmo's fur is falling out because of the oil that was on his body and he may never grow it back. Whoever has the heart to take this guy will need to keep him strictly indoors as he will be at greater risk of sunburns and frostbite! Please if you see a cat in trouble call someone and let them know, we can't help them if we don't know about them!

Flounder is a 10 month old unaltered male who came into the shelter with his friend "Betty Boo" after they were found living as strays. Flounder is a very lovable, cute little guy who would make a family very happy! Flounder is a little shy around new people but warms
up very quickly once you get to know him.

Miss May has been at the SPCA for more than a year waiting for her forever home!

Muffy is a spayed 3 year old and is a very sweet girl. Muffy is very quiet and doesn't compete for attention. She is a little bit shy when you first meet her, but warms up quickly. Muffy would do best in a quiet home with lots of comfy beds to nap on.
